After months of discussion and consultations, the Filipino Centennial Celebration Commission has approved a plan that calls for a yearlong schedule of activities and festivities. This will begin with the opening ceremonies in December 2005 in Honolulu and on the Big Island, and will end with a closing extravaganza in December 2006.
