All the 11 graduates of the Northern Christian College’s (NCC) School of Midwifery successfully hurdled the midwifery examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in April 2005. However, one graduate of the same course in a previous year who joined the April examinations failed, pulling down the college’s overall passing rate to 92 percent. In spite of this, NCC still placed second overall in the national ranking of colleges and universities in the category of 10 to 29 participants. The college ranked fourth in all categories nationwide. This is the highest rating NCC has obtained in any board exams. NCC President Caesar I. Agnir said that this is a stride towards the attainment of the vision to make NCC an institution of the highest quality in Northern Luzon. The students who passed the said licensure examination are: Femie Rose Agcaoili, Mary Grace Bolo, Rebecca Cadaoas, Mylene Diego, Mylene Edrada, Lenie Lauricio, Nancy Mandac, Harlene Pascua, Katherine Pascua, Primalyn Quibin, and Emily Seso.
