BBM suspends Badoc mayor, vice mayor
Ilocos Norte Governor Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has ordered the preventive suspension of Badoc Mayor Thomas Torralba for 60 days effective July 26 following the filing of an administrative charge against the mayor in connection with the killing of a police officer last week.
Barangay 41 (Balacad) Chairman Pedro Bonoan, Jr., 51 years old and married, was gunned down on July 27 right at the victim’s residence.
Police investigators said Bonoan was killed at around 4 pm.
